Recipe: Cottage Cheese With Flaxseed Oil And Parsley

In my previous post I wrote about the many surprising health benefits of eating parsley. Having experimented with this powerful green herb, I’ll now share some recipes with you. In this post there are two simple ideas for spicing up your cottage cheese!

I’ve prepared two version of a cottage cheese using flat-leaf parsley as it has a bit stronger taste than the curly one. The reason why why I so much like combining a cottage cheese / quark with a flaxseed oil is that according to Dr. Budwig, a German biochemist from 1950’s, it has been proved to have anti-cancer properties. It’s not a cancer treatment, but a healthy and light meal choice that can support a anti-cancer diet.

Recipe: Cottage Cheese With Flaxseed Oil, Parsley and Cayenne Pepper

Preparation Time: 4 min

Ingredients

Cottage Cheese (optionally quark)
Few Twigs Of Parsley
1 Soup Spoons Of Flaxseed Oil
Pinch Of Salt
Cayenne Pepper
Couple Of Pine Nuts

Preparation

Chop the parsley, mix all ingredients and it’s ready!

Recipe: Cottage Cheese With Flaxseed Oil, Parsley and Radish

Preparation Time: 6 min


Ingredients

Cottage Cheese (optionally quark)
A Few Twigs Of Parsley
1 Soup Spoons Of Flaxseed Oil
Pinch Of Salt
4 – 5 Radish

Preparation

Chop the parsley and the radish. Add them to a bowl with a cottage cheese or quark, add the flaxseed oil, some salt and mix.

Enjoy it on a sandwich or on its own.
